Finished Live Edge Elm Mantel with Corbels

A nice live edge with nail holes on the front. Skim planed to leave some circle saw marks but still bring out the amazing grain on this piece. Must see to appreciate for we could not capture it on film. We did take a few close ups if you live in another state and can’t come out to visit us in person. Three coats of polyurethane to last and protect for many years. Comes with matching corbels and anchor bolts.

This one has a some very unique abstract wormy live edge for those that like things to be a little interesting and different. We matched up some live edge corbels for those that need a little more continuity. There is some quilting grain and a weird raised circle grown into the live edge we just had to keep and show off. Finished Wormy Live Edge Sleeper Shelves

Really didn’t know where to put these amazing one of a kind of what we are calling sleeper shelves. Sleepers are the logs that generally are fatter like 8″ thick and used as floor joists and wall girts. We have had a lot of folks ask for 3″ thick live edge material and almost never get it but this is unbelievable with real nice hewn top and bottoms, wormy larch live edge face, and we ripped the back straight to make either nice shelf or small fireplace mantels.
