One of our original designs is to make coat racks from reclaimed barnwood boards and the barn pegs used to hold together the beams in these antique barns. You can only get the pegs (trunnels) if you take apart an antique barn very carefully piece by piece. Trunnels were used instead of nails in older turn of the century barns when people used what they could from the land. And take a look at our other rustic coat racks, we handcraft each one to your specifications, length, width and the amount of hooks wanted to fit your space. Each peg requires about 6 inches of width. Call with any special size restrictions. . Since rustic furniture is very textural, add it in small amounts. These unique and beautiful coat racks that will enhance any decor.
Please note the coat racks shown here are an example, unless it has a price in the description, and are hand crafted to order when you purchase. Each one is made from unique and original pieces of barn wood and no two are alike.
