Making a great architectural statement can be as simple and inexpensive as incorporating one of our distinctive vintage reclaimed barn wood mantels.

We have antique weathered gray, milled, hand hewn, log, natural distressed and clear coated barn-wood mantels, each one unique and original, lengths can range from h foot up, most of our mantels can be cut down to a desired length, we can find a fit for your fireplace mantel needs.

Vintage barn beams make a dramatic statement and they can work with just about ang home decor from rustic to modern. Mantels can be purchased from our 207 N. Saginaw. Byron Michigan location, which is centrally located from Detroit, Lansing, Saginaw, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids and Flint or shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. We accept cash, check, credit cards, PayPal, or Zelle for your convenience.

Some folks want a hand hewn mantel but thinner than they come in beam form so sometimes if there is a bad side we will rip that off and give them what they want. As you can see in the bottom picture the color and character is quite different on the inside so most are using these on higher installed applications like when a taller hearth and ceiling is involved so they get everything they want plus the bonus of a very flat top to set decorations on. We have also had customers set the smooth side down on stone where you would not see it. Others don’t mind the difference in sides to get the thickness they want with some hand hewn character. This one is very beautiful with nice hewn marks, pretty white oak grain and color, and a touch of gray. Definitely one of the better ones we have done.
